#SachchiAdvice that changed your life! #2

This incident happened 2 years back when I was in a confusion to choose a new job or stick my my job only. I was in the midst of thinking that if I resign from my current job, the new job that I take would be or not be good for me and it would not be right as my current job was much better in terms of the work environment and I had made really great friends as well in my company. The main issue was that my job timings were changed as per my convinience in my current job and I could work from home as well while the new job had no such timings and work from home opportunities. It was a regular 9-6 job and the only thing that mattered was the new job had a shuttle to pick me up and drop me to my home while the current one did not have such a thing.

I spoke to my friend from my office and she was of great halep to me and a very good adviser. Being 20 years elder to me, she was the right person to approach and she told me that it is better that I leave the current job for the new one as the new job was with a better company and it had many growth opportunities as well. The salary they could offer me would be more as well as the experience would be counted for getting a job in foreign countries as well which was my dream. I thought for few days and decided to follow her advice.

Today, I am quite happy with my current job and I have received two promotions as well which means a salary hike and this company has made me explore my skills and make a better use of them. Although, my earlier job was good but it wasn't that helpful in terms of my career growth and I thank my office friend for making me chose the right job and it helped me to grow in my career as well as my personal life.

Pampers Premium Care Product Review

I received the Pampers Premium Care product yesterday after attending the Pampers event in JW Marriot and it was a wonderful experience I must say.

As the demonstration was given during the event, I went back home and thought to first try it on my nephew who is just 3 months old. Earlier, my sister used to insist that he wears cloth diapers only and then she bought him another diapers brand from the market. Yesterday when I told my sister about the Pampers event and the great features of this product, she was amazed and excited to try in on her new born baby.  We opened the product and she took the diaper in her hands to feel it and then she compared the product with the other brand's diaper and noticed that Pampers was softer than the other one.

At 8:00 p.m. before my nephew went to sleep, I made him wear this diaper which was a very easy task and like before he did not feel cranky nor cry while wearing it. He was sweetly resting on the bed while I made him wear it and then I put him down and he fell asleep.

After an hour, he kept turning here and there which made me felt he was uncomfortable. I checked his waist and there was no mark nor any itchiness on his waist which made me take a sigh of relief. I then left his room after putting him to sleep and then got back to my house work.

I came back to check after an hour to check if he has wetted his pants or not and right enough when I checked the indicator, it had turned blue. I and my sister then checked his pants and they were dry and he was still fast asleep which means that he dint even know he wetted his pants and my sister was very happy to know this. She asked me if she should change the diaper and I told her that it was not needed as the diaper can give the baby comfort for 12 hours. My sister then changed the diaper at 6:00 a.m. when the baby woke up and she used the second diaper from the bag.

As it was said during the event, the diapers experience can be best told by the baby itself and here my nephew has already given his review that he loves the product and it gave him his baby sleep completely. Thanks to Pampers for their new innovative product and we'll surely be purchasing it when it's launched in the market.

My day at the Pampers event

I attended the Pampers event on 21st September 2015 and it was a great experience. I got to meet celebrity moms like Mandira Bedi and Tara Sharma and experts like Achita and a representative from Pampers.

Achita spoke about skin health being important and how does a diaper affect the skin of a baby. She explained how the edges of a diaper cause rashes on the skin of a baby and also it keeps irritating the baby when the diaper gets wet.

It was interesting to know that Tara Sharma is a mom blogger and she has been using Pampers for his own two sons. She showed us 2 videos where she showed how easy it is to make a baby wear a diaper and a mother can just do it in seconds. There was also a video where Tara Sharma goes shopping for Pampers while holding her baby in her hand. It was a very cute moment.

Tara Sharma explained how she is strict with regards to her baby's sleeping time and she makes sure that her kids sleep in time as the baby needs to get proper sleep. She also said that she has never kept awake as her kids used to get sleep at night and not be awake due to their diapers especially.

The representative from Papers gave us a description of the diapers of Pampers that are soft and made of a very good material that fits the baby perfectly without causing any rashes on the baby's skin and leaving it soft and dry. She explained us about the features of this new diaper introduced by Pampers like it has a 12 hours dryness guarantee no matter if the baby wets the diapers many times throughout the day, the diapers is made up of a lotion that keeps the product dry, it has a fitting that makes it stretchable and ways to wear, it has an all around softness features that makes it be soft on the skin of the baby and it also has a wetness indicator that makes the yellow line turn blue when the diaper is wet.

There was a small demonstration held by the representative where she took a sample yellow paper and applied lotion on it. She then sprinkled water indicating that it is a baby's wetness and the paper got wet from all other sides except the place where the lotion was applied.

Tara Sharma then also us a sample Pampers diaper where she poured liquid in the diaper and made us watch the wetness indicator that changed its color indicating it is wet. This is a new exciting feature that Pampers has introduced and I really loved the way Pampers has put an effort to make their product new and innovative for mommie and their babies.

All in all, I really enjoyed the event and got a chance to interact with celebrity mommies and representatives of Pampers brand.

#SachchiAdvice that changed my life! #1

It was the time when I had passed out from 12th and was looking out for various opportunities for my career. I wanted to become a Doctor but my marks were less and hence I couldn't get an admission in my preferable college. Hence, I decided to join an Engineering college instead as my percentage was suitable for this stream. Before opting for Engineering, I visited a family doctor who was my mother's best friend. I wanted to seek her advise and guidance before filling the admission form and she being was the right person to approach as she had been an inspiration for me.

The doctor told me that I should not be upset about not getting admission in a Medical college but instead focus and concentrate on my future with regards to being an Engineering student. She told my mom to sit outside while she talks to be about choosing the Engineering stream and she then held my hands and looked at me with a smile on her face.

She asked me "Are you sure about your decision of being an Engineer"

I looked at her and was nervous about her question as I couldn't understand why was she asking me this. I nodded my head and answered "Yes."

She then caressed my face and looked into my eyes asking "I know that you are wondering why am I asking you this. The answer you'll get when you start your course of Engineering. It requires a lot of focus and determination but along with all this, you will need to study a lot."

I smiled and answered "Yes. I'm ready for it doctor. I have managed to cope up with my board exams pretty well and hence Engineering also would be the same for me."

She smiled and said "I know that you must be thinking it's the same feeling as appearing for the tenth and twelfth board exams. However, Engineering is more tough than these board exams you have given so far. You'll not even get the time to prepare as in 10th and 12th, there was a year to prepare for the exams and the subjects too were less while in Engineering, the subjects and the time will be very less. Are you ready to manage this and study hard for it?"

I thought for a while and finally nodded my head as I wanted to join the Engineering stream.

A year later when I thought about my conversation with the Doctor, I realized that her advise was indeed very useful to me. She was making me be mentally prepared for the stream I had chosen and that day I dint get the exact meaning of her words while today I understand that she was making me aware of this even before I got my admission. I always thank her in my mind for making me what I am today.
