I and my family dined at the Copper Chimney restaurant last month. Here is my honest review about the restaurant:
On entering the store, the Manager greeted me within 5 seconds by saying “Welcome to Copper Chimney”. Within 30 seconds, the Steward greeted me with a “Hello” and asked me as to how many people are there with me to which I answered that we are three in a group. He guided us to a table near the counter in the first row which had 4 chairs. There were four plates, cutlery (containing the fork, butter knife and a spoon) and cloth napkins placed besides each plate.

The Steward asked us if we would like Ordinary water or Mineral water to which we replied that we will prefer Ordinary water. We then asked for a menu card and he presented us with one in a second. He then served us water within a minute.
Another Steward approached us and asked if one more person will be joining us to which we replied “No” and so the Steward took away the extra plate and cutlery from the table. Within 2 minutes, the Steward approached us again to take the order.
While finalizing items to be ordered, we asked the Steward if the flavor of the dish was spicy or sweet and he explained the same with ease. We also asked him about an item which was present in the menu card but was not a gravy dish and he said that it is possible for him to serve the dish as per our requirements. While placing the order, we asked the Steward if the Biryani comes with Raita as it is always accompanied with one but he replied saying that it does not come with Raita and it can be ordered separately. He had a good knowledge of the menu items and on ordering the food items and the beverage, he gave his recommendations as to if we would prefer any dessert to go with it at the end. He repeated the items ordered and added saying that it would take around 15-20 minutes for the dish to be served. He did not mention of any special items for the day.
The food was of an average quality and was served steaming hot and appeared appetizing. The menu card did not give complete information about the dish. The Rice ordered was excellent in taste while the Vegetarian Curry ordered was quite spicy and below our expectations. The quantity of the food served was appropriate and enough for three people. The beverage served was excellent in taste and above our expectations. It was refreshing and of the right temperature.
When we finished our meal, the Steward came and took away the plates along with the cutlery. He then placed three finger bowls on the table. On leaving the restaurant, I was bid farewell by the Stewards, the Manager and the Hostess and they said “Thanks for visiting”.
My overall experience was overwhelming and I was satisfied with the service of the staff within the restaurant. However, the food quality can be improved a bit to match the taste of the guests as the dish we had was quite spicy. There was high tax applied to our bill which was not expected as compared to other restaurants within the Mall. Since there was no washroom within the restaurant, I would recommend one, as it is quite inconvenient for the guests to wash their hands before and after their meals as the washrooms for the floor are located at a long distance from the restaurant.
